About

I spent more than a decade producing film and television in Korea, where I co-created Dramaworld. Now I tell stories through my independent shingle, Monster Hunter For Hire, from New York and Toronto, and try to be a good dad.

Work together

I do my best work on hard problems with small, sharp teams. Here are a few challenges I'd love to take on next.

  • A series that needs help. Taking a show from the writers' room through delivery, especially comedies that cross languages, formats or audiences.
  • Characters for a brand, toy or game. Turning a product line or an IP into characters people care about and a world they want to come back to.
  • Stories for new technology. Helping a tech or AI company show what they've built through stories people remember.
  • Making it work across borders. Korea, the US and Canada. I'm a dual US and Canadian citizen, speak Korean, and have made shows across all three.
